My interview with Italian filmmaker Gianfranco Rosi, for the documentary Below the Clouds, is in the latest issue of Cineaste, which is a print magazine. The subject of the film is Naples, Italy, its citizens, its institutions, and its over 28,000 year history that shaped Western Civilization. It is not a travelogue, but rather an allegorical film about humankind's collective memory, and our memories, what this generation will leave behind.
